Power Lipstick

So now that the election is over, whatever your preference was, there are some insightful things we can take away after it was all said and done. What is that? Power. What kind of power? Lipstick power. As people, we want to be confident and self-efficient in everything that we do. One way Hillary Clinton made a power statement is with her lipstick that the fashion world is calling “Power Lipstick”.

With being the first time that a woman has ran for the presidency in the United States, a lot of people judged and admired her wardrobe. Some would say they focused more on that than her policies themselves. But Clinton wore a vibrant berry lipstick to everything that had to do with politics in 2016 Presidential Election. As a power statement to women, no matter what happened throughout the election she showed up

Now, this definitely isn’t the first time that a lipstick has made a bold statement. In 1912, women were fighting for the right to vote and wore scarlet lips as a symbol for what they were standing for. Maybe Hilary’s shade of berry will stick around and be known as a power color.
