Raising daughters without body image issues

Hey Fashom Friends,

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

What if your aunt or a relative announces publicly that you are “big”? Would you feel ashamed and sorry about your body? That’s what Leslle Blanchard did once. When she heard the “big” word in her 16, she became crazily worried about her weight and nearly suffered from eating disorder.

After years she had daughters, Leslle has always been the sentry over her husband and mother, making sure they convey positive and healthy body messages to her girls. As women, her girls display a healthy, balanced attitude towards weight and body image, and they discussed positively a lot about body image. They all believe that women should stay positive about their body, not influenced by others’ comments.

We are in a world full of comments about best body shape, but that doesn’t mean we have to follow those rules. We should be what we like we are; we should love what we are. To be happy, healthy and body positive should be the priority.

So fight against, Fashom fans. Stay body positive, to be the one you like!
